This project is not only great for DIY wedding, but works for a lot more creative uses. What you need are: fabric, scissors, hot glue gun, and Chinese lanterns. Here is the final work from Once Wed.
Measure and cut circles from the fabric.
Then fold the circle in half and put a little hot glue on the center. Fold over to secure. Apply more hot glue to the bottom of the folded circle.
Press the fabric with hot glue on the bottom onto the lantern.
Repeat the process until it reaches the desired shape. You can also mix & match the fabric to make a colorful pom pom.
How much fabric would you need for one pom? It looks like a fair bit to get it so full looking. LOVE how they turned out!
